Refund Policy

At MindPath Consulting, we are committed to providing high-quality services and transparent policies to ensure your experience with us is clear and fair. Please read our refund terms carefully before making a booking.

 

1. All Sales Are Final

All purchases of:

  • Individual sessions
  • Therapy or coaching bundles
  • Workshops or events

are considered final and non-refundable.

2. Exceptions

Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances (e.g. duplicate payments or booking errors) and are granted solely at the discretion of MindPath Consulting.

3. Payment Errors

If you believe you were charged in error, please notify us within 7 days of the transaction so we can investigate and resolve the issue promptly.

 

4. Third-Party Bookings

If you booked through a third-party platform (e.g., MindBody), refund eligibility and processes may differ. Please refer to the platform’s refund policy or contact us directly for clarification.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this policy, which helps us respect the time and availability of our therapists and clients.

Cancellation Policy

At MindPath Consulting, we understand that life can be unpredictable. Our cancellation policy is designed to respect the time and commitment of both clients and therapists, while maintaining the sustainability of our service.

1. Cancelled Sessions

  • If you cancel or miss a session with less than 48 hours’ notice, the full session fee will be charged (i.e. deducted from your account).
  • If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance, the fee remains as credit on your account and can be used for a future booking.

Sessions can be rescheduled up to 48 hours before the appointment.

We cannot reschedule sessions cancelled within 48 hours.

 

2. Why We Have This Policy

This policy exists to:

  • Honour the time of our therapists.
  • Ensure availability of appointments to others in need.
  • Sustain our ability to provide high-quality care.

Refunds are not issued unless there are exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of the Director.

 

3. Bundles Purchased by Individuals

  • Bundles are non-refundable, in full or in part.
  • You have 12 months from the first session to use your bundle.
  • Bundles are non-transferable.
  • If you wish to change your therapist, you may do so within the same price band, with 48+ hours’ notice, subject to availability.

 

4. Late Arrival or Missed Sessions

  • Sessions start and end on time.
  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without contacting us, we may consider it a no-show, and the full session fee will apply.
  • If you notify us in advance, your therapist may choose to continue the session, but this is at their discretion.

5. Session Refusal

Therapists reserve the right to cancel or end a session without refund if:

  • You are visibly intoxicated or under the influence of substances.
  • You display threatening, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour.
  • You are receiving active support from a primary mental health team or another therapist outside of MindPath Consulting.

 

6. Virtual Sessions

  • We allow for minor technical issues and will attempt to reconnect during the scheduled time.
  • If issues arise on our end, we will reschedule your session at no cost.
  • Please ensure your internet and device are functioning ahead of time.

 

7. Corporate & Business Sessions (Self in the City)

  • Sessions may be changed with more than 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
  • Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be deducted from the corporate account.
  • See your service agreement or Contractual Terms for more.

 

8. Psychoeducation Events & Workshops

  • Cancellations made with less than 10 working days’ notice incur 100% of the event fee.
  • If cancelled with more than 10 working days’ notice, a 5% admin fee will be charged.
  • Events may be postponed once, with 10 working days’ notice. The new date must fall within 6 months of the original date.
