Personal Consultant & Therapist
I am an Integrative Counsellor and Therapeutic Coach, qualified to work with young people (16+) and adults.
I offer a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment, where you will feel heard, considered, and less alone in your thoughts and experiences. I work in a culturally sensitive way, with care and awareness of how identity, background, and life experiences shape us.
In this accepting and culturally sensitive space, you will have the freedom to explore your inner thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Our sessions are collaborative and led by your needs and intentions. I may draw on tools and techniques from counselling, psychotherapy, and coaching to support you in gaining clarity, self-awareness, and meaningful change.
Sessions are tailored to you, your pace, comfort, and preferred ways of working. We can take a creative approach, using writing, visualisations, storyboarding, role play and metaphors. We can also integrate practices like mindfulness, body scans, breathing or grounding techniques to help build your connection to the present moment and to yourself.
In Therapeutic Coaching, we can focus on either Life Coaching or Leadership Coaching, depending on your current needs and future goals. This approach is typically more proactive and time-bound, guided by you and centred on what you want to achieve.
Experience:
Before training as a therapist, I worked across a range of frontline and leadership roles in the NHS and third sector; as a group facilitator, support worker, and Team Leader. My work has included services supporting people facing mental health challenges, homelessness, drug and alcohol misuse, and involvement in the criminal justice system.
I currently also work as a Team Manager in a charity supporting children and young people’s mental health, alongside my private counselling and therapeutic coaching practice.
